The Government's Warm Front scheme provides grants for insulation and heating improvements to households on income related benefits to make homes more energy-efficient, warmer and healthier.
The Warm Front scheme provides support to vulnerable groups in, or at risk of, fuel poverty. This typically includes low income households and families, disabled and elderly groups.

Qualifying households can get improvement grants up to a value of £3,500 for natual gas or LPG (or £6,000 if oil central heating is recommended)
To qualify for the Warm Front grant, applicants must either own their home or rent it from a private landlord.
They should also be in receipt of certain qualifying benefits.
