Logic Is Warming The Working Men In Barnard Castle

Logic, Appleby's premier plumbing, electrical and heating firm, completed a double boiler installation at Barnard Castle's Working Men's Club, with all rewiring and plumbing, in just a week and a half.

The club's 50 year-old central heating equipment and the design of the system prevented independent heating control in the accommodation and function areas of the club. 

The heating was either all on, or all off, leading to wasted heating and money. Logic thoroughly assessed the situation and prescribed a solution that would save the club energy and money and give staff fine control over their climate. Logic's team of four heating engineers and an electrician split off the plumbing and wiring for the living accommodation from the function room and bar and installed a modern, energy efficient Broag Quinta 65 gas boiler to heat the function rooms and a compact Worcester 30 CDI Greenstar Combination boiler, with its 92.2% class A energy efficiency rating and 30 KW output in the living area. The Worcester Greenstar condenses in both heating and hot water modes yielding greater efficiency and fuel savings to the club. The new system delivers 35% energy savings and enhanced comfort control. The Club Secretary was very pleased with the work. "I'd recommend Logic to anyone" he said, "nothing was too much for them."
